How to learn a speech

I learned my speech by writing it mostly. It helps me remember things when I write them down. I also read over it a lot. Also I read it out loud and recite it many times. At first I would sit in my room all alone and practice it for awhile and then I go to my youth pastor and recite it to her a few times. I think that that the best things to do is: write your own speech, read over it a few times, and make sure you hear it out loud a few times as well.
